70 bee v code

Best way to sell my 70 superbee?
Been sitting in garage since 1985.
440 six pac pistol grip 4 speed with dana reared.
Car was originally b5 blue but was repainted in the 70's to red.
Body is in very very good condition with minor rust in lower rear quarters.
Flawless floorpans with very minor pinholes in trunk. Motor completely just professionally rebuilt. Have build sheet. Motor has blank pad on motor where vin should be and upper pad is stamped s 440. Trying to figure this one out. Thought is the block is a warranty block.
It is dated 1/70. Any input on that ? Car has 45,700 miles..I am definitely selling this car but am not giving it away. Taking offers starting at 25 k if anyone interested. I can send pics to your email and can be contacted directly at 540-330-3961. Located in Virginia.
Thanks for your time.,Jerry waters

In my opinion there is only two ways to sell a car, or any other item of this caliber, and that is either ebay or some other commissioned "pro" seller outfit

Take many GOOD photos, and if you cannot, get a friend who can. SHOW clear, closeups of flaws, the engine pad, and any other questionable areas along with "the good." Be absolutely truthful about the condition of the car, pointing out not only the good, but the bad.

Avoid "used car" salesman talk. In other words, "hype." Most of us don't like it, and it immediately puts us off.

Show either a photo or at least reveal the first part of the ser. number revealing the body type/ engine, etc. There is no need, nor should you need to reveal the last numbers of the VIN.

Be absolutely sure that the paperwork (title !!!) is squared away, and I would take the trouble, even if you "think" the title is OK, to contact your state licensing outfit and CONFIRM that it is. If the title is ragged from storage, etc, apply for a "lost" title so that you have a confirmed and clean, new, document.

Opinions appreciated and valued. What Do you think of an auction house? I'm thinkin most of reality tv is Hollywood. Very misleading with a few exceptions. I know history of car since 1981. Title in my name with actual miles posted on title. Car has been kept dry since 85.
Time for me to do a little homework on eBay. Thanks so far for inputs.
