New to MOPARS, just placed a deposit on a 71 GTX. All of the paperwork comes with the two owner car(build sheet, registration from previous two owners dating back to new, and the bill of sale and window sticker) The only item missing is the fender tag, are they reproduced by Galen Govier? I checked the radiator core support and verified the VIN, is there anywhere else I could check? On a MOPAR where is the VIN on the engine. Thanks.

On a 440 the vin is stamped near the starter on the machined ear that sticks out. Also you can find the vin stamped near or under the trunk weather seal( Not sure if this holds true on 71s but does on 68-70s).
