727 transmission Q's

hi i have a 1970 Charger with a 440 and a 727 transmission that just gave up and was wondering what i should have done to it to better accomidate the 440 output.

just have a respectful place rebuild it with some heavy duty bands and keep it serviced everyother year or so and it will last
