Basic answer: yes.
Longer answer: For what? What engine, car, etc..?

I just bought a 2 row havn't seen 3 row. Most I looked at say aluminum gets rid of heat so 2 rows are enough. Something about how the third row picks up the heat from the front two, go figure. What I do know from others is don't buy a cheaper race rad and run it on the street, won't last. Don't skimp here.

Call me a skeptic, but all mopes had towing packages. Why cant a good runner be built without aftermarket stuff?

Depending on where you life (avg temp), the amount of work on the motor and how you drive the car, it may be a necessity. Worked big blocks run hot, forget if I have a 3 or 4 row aluminum (Griffin) and it works.(Noticeably better than my old three row core on "factory tanks".)

Only have to caught in traffic once to appreciate it.

Caveat: In addition, a proper fan, shroud, and fan to radiator spacing are also critical.
