Confused about 68-69 Dodge tail lights....
In the market for a 68-69 Plymouth GTX or a Dodge R/T Convertible......but have a question about the "correct' tail lights for the Dodge R/T vs the Coronet......
The R/T's from what I have seen on the net have a three segment sort of wedge shaped tail light assembly on each side.....
The Coronet is supposed to have a very wide three segment tail light that stretches all the way across the back....
I may be wrong here.......but anyway I have seen ads for what is being for sale as Dodge R/T's with the correct looking front grill but tail lights that look like they are from a Coronet.......can anyone explain this to me....I assume they people are trying to sell their Dodge's as R/T's but really are very bad R/T clones? Thanks......a newbie to Mopars

If I'm reading this right.... you have described is the difference in the taillights on a '68 and a '69 Coronet R/T.

68 coronets all had the same lights
69 coronets had the same lights
But between the years, theyre different.
PS: The middle light in the 69 is just really a reflector.
