Fiberglass repair on '74 Charger grille
The grille on my Charger broke and was missing a chunk for the longest time. I decided to actually be proactive today and get after it. Firgured I'd share my experience.
This is not my first time working with fiberglass. I also fiberglassed over my 1995 Ram dash in order to fit a double-din radio correctly. I started with a piece of tin siding I had laying around and cut it to fit the hole. This for for support of the fiberglass and to help keep it straight. I used two small strips of blue tape to hold it into place while I laid the glass. This was actually a pretty straight forward repair. It will require some sanding and shaping, but it should turn out!
