Plastic Center grill 72 road runner
 

I have owned my car for several years unrestored of course allot of parts are hard to come by or they just dont reproduce them.

Does anyone know on the 72 road runner plastic insert in the grill most of them are dry and cracked is there somthing to recondition plastic or a place that can fix it and make it look good NOS parts are way out of the price range for me and no one makes them

i have the same car and had the same problem what i did and it now looks mint was i sanded the plastic grills down as best as i could and sprayed it with gloss black with about 3-5 coats and it looks great now (i didnt use spary paint)
