Plug wires for 440

I decided to up grade to 8mm plug wires. Bought a set of MSD wire that were to fit " wrong". The coil wire was about 2 ft long, Most of the others were to long. I would have coil them up. Tried another make they were also bad . I am thinking I will have to go to a universal set. Any one else have this problem?

I've noticed many are running their wires parallel and down around the front of the valve covers to have that clean look, maybe the manufacturers are allowing for this.

I would think about a fit set and get the extra parts to cut the few you need to because I just hate doing a whole set.

Universal all the way. The custom sets could never be as neat or perfect as the ones you cut with your own two hands.

the 60s RBs had 2 brackets on each cover. wires going over the top. go find some old pics to see how they done. i had my uncle make a big batch of custom brackets. still have some. we would drill a hole in the cover and spot braze them on. looked stock. i should have them some where. but finding them wont be easy.
