Price check - Looking to buy 69 Road Runner
Basically from what the guy told me is that he let it sit for a year and before that it ran just fine he just didn't have the time to keep it on the road (has a bunch of other projects). It has a #'s matching 383 (slightly bigger than stock cam and aftermarket carb) and vin and fender badge but the trans is not the stock one. Its got a 727 torque flight if I remember right with a factory floor shifter. The interior was redone by the previous owner and is still in pretty good shape. Has 74k on the odo. Factory a/c. Said the trunk pan was rusted out but he has a new one that he hasn't put in yet. The quarter panels are also rusted but he doesn't have replacements for them. Couple of the seals have minor leaks, but would replace those right away.
What do you guys think this would be worth?
Edit:
Will be going back with a battery and a tank of gas to see if it runs still but was hoping on a price for it so I know what to offer him on it. He has a price that he wants but I want unbiased opinions on what you guys think its worth so I won't post it.

Looks like a project to me, really depends on what you want the car to be when you are fiinished, just a driver, show car, rat rod, figure 4grand for paint and body work at least, probably more these days, unless you can do some it yourself. figure 2grand for interior work if you do some of it your self, maybe more, windshield, tires, brakes, suspension, another 3grand, maybe more, you might just have an decent driver. So with that in mind pay 3grand for the car, invest 8-11 grand, you have maybe 14 thousand in it, that's how i would look at it. Tell the seller all this too, Maybe you could get it for less than 3grand, probably not though, This is just a rough frame on restore too. Body off full blown resto could cost you 30-40 grand. Just my thoughts. have done a few so i've been there. If you love the car go for it, i have a 69 and love it. Nicer though to pay 17-20 grand though and not have to do much to it though.
