Sub Frame Connectors

With the added torque comes added responsibility......I am looking to add some frame connectors to the 69 RR. I saw some laser cut by XV for about $200 (eBay) and wanted to know if anyone has used their product or can recommend another manufacturer.

Hotchkis are $320, Comp Engineering are $150 and Global West are $164...all these are weld in but only on each end. And since I won't be doing the weld the XV's become really expensive since they are seam welded on both sides. Just wanted to get some input. I think......I like to believe you get what you pay for but........certainly a seam weld on both sides would give more support, my question was do I REALLY need it? No this is not a race car but I would like to take it down the track every now and again without any apprehension. 614Ft/lbs.....?

My gut reaction is that you don't unless you have a really tight hook-up off the line, but a lot of guys here have more experience than I do.

Other option is to find a welding shop run by a car guy. I found one by accident and the guy said he'd frame the Charger for about $250. I'm not planning on doing it, but nice to know it's an option.

Anybody know of any strict bolt-ons connectors that work and can be done at home?

Just got the Gorilla back in the car with a new Dana 60 (4.10), Still have street tires but plan on getting a set of MT/ET's or 28.5 slicks for some accurate times. Also had some Caltracs installed and loaded. I am just a little apprehensive about the car hooking and twisting off the line.
