Tire sizes
It all depends on two factures.
1. Do you want a stock look? If so use 205/75/15 or 205/70/15 for the front and the rear/ 2. Or would you like the 1960-70's muscle car look? On my 1971 Charger R/T, I have 235/60/15 on the front and 445/60/15 on the rear. The one problem you will find putting the large size rear tires on the rear is space. you will have to raise the rear-end up to get the clearance, (i.e. air shocks with shock lift extentions or air shocks with spring shackles, or cut and re-tub the rear fender wells. What I used was the first one so that would be able to return my Charger to stock height when I needed to. Best of luck. :D |
