1971 Fury Roof
Hi Guys,
New here, great site! I am looking at a '71 Sport Fury to purchase. It has roof damage above the driver's door severe enough that I will need to section a piece in. Windshield and A pillar are fine. I'm not afraid to do this work however, before I take the leap I'm wondering how difficult it will be to find a usable roof? Donor car, parts car, reproduction? This car is a two door. Do I have to use a two door donor car or would a front half section from a four door work? Thanks, Greg |
I'm assuming this car is a hardtop. But yes a section from a 4 door would work. So would sections from another car that is similar in the section. Doesn't have to be a fury or even chrysler as long as the section you need is about the same.

Thanks for the input. I need the section right above the driver's seat right down to the roof edge that meets the driver's door glass so it does need to be from a similar model.

I know but the edge design was used on many cars not just the fury. Heck even some fords and chevys used it.
