65-68 C-body doorhandle interchange (exciting stuff!!!)
 

I had heard that the outer door handles
from full-size (RWD) Dodge Vans
from the 70's thru at least the 80's
are the same as the door handles on 65-68 C-bodys.

I went looking for one at a local salvage yard
but they had no vans like that there.

I noticed that the chrome outer door handle
on an ‘86 Dodge D150 Pickup looked identical
to the door handles on my ‘68 Polara sedan.

I took it off and compared it side by side to
the one I had removed from my Polara,
and the handles are indeed identical

Gotta love Mopar interchangeability..


(now was that exciting news or what?!
it would be if you were looking to replace your Polara's door handle too)
