65 Custom 880 rebuild
I've had this car for 23 years and decided to rebuild it last month instead of selling. Anyone know of any poduction numbers specifically for the 2 door hardtop? As we all know C-body parts are hard to find. Any help would be appreciated.

C-body, sweeet!
Hey, nice C-body, dont know the production numbers. I can imagine that the 880 would be very low production. There is a guy in ohio somewhere that has a stash of parts for it, someone on here will know who it is. Some of the parts are interchangeable to many years of the C's. At least you got a decent starting point.

I purchased this 66 Monaco 3 years ago and just got to this point 98% done. It was missing alot of stuff including lights, a fender, and alot of trim. Nothing bodywise on these cars can be purchased new you just have to hunt. E-bay motors helped me alot. And you will be very suprised what steel wool will do on the trim and moldings to clean them up.
But the real sad thing is most of the junk yards atleast around here sold off most orf the cars a few years ago when scrap prices were so high. Just don't give up, it gets frustrating but you just need to give it time and do some snooping, have fun...

Update
The body has been media blasted. A few surprises but nothing major. I would not sugest buying replacement panels from JC Whitney, they are close but just not right. Suspension is sandblasted and ready to paint. Anyone know the correct colors for suspension on a '65 C-dody?
