68 monaco
Hi I'm new to the forum first off. So today I came across a 68 Monaco in British Columbia the guy has owned it since 69 it has very little rust from what I can tell has never been restored . It has a 383 4 barrel carb very little work. Bucket seats. Interior is mostly good and is white body is burgundy with a vinyl roof. I'm just wondering on a rough value on it. I'm not familiar with them

Hard to say... I have seen one in show room condition with a price tag of
$17,000.00 U.S.D..... |
Dodge Monaco
They are similar to a Chrysler. A Chrysler 300 (top of the line), in real good condition sold recently for $22,900. - Also there is a, real nice, numbers matching, 68 Chrysler Newport Custom, currently for sale at $12,900. -- I'm guessing that a Dodge would be worth less than a Chrysler. -- Obviously it depends, greatly, on the overall condition.

It's in extremely good condition considering it's never been touched body wise I'm going to go back and get some photos of it see what you think. It's been under a tarp in a shed for a long time

Obviously it's all matching numbers. I just want to know what I'm paying for if I decide to buy it

if stock that engine will be 10.xx to 1 CR. and the 68 should be a AVS carb. the first year for the AVS.

sometimes that engine / carb in that year will have a small hesitation off idle. the fix is to drill the idle jet in the carb. but you dont know how, DONT try to do it. you need to get the right instructions. i may have posted that on this site. but not sure.
