B Body steering wheel for a C body?

The 66 Fury I bought to make a sport fury has the wrong steering wheel. The one off my old Sport Fury is cracked beyond repair. I took the chrome horn ring off and laid it on top of a friend's gold B body 3 spoke wheel and it appears to be a perfect fit and even looks the same as the 68 wheel. Does anyone know if this will work? I can fine black B body steering wheels with no problem.

my info is limited on this subject. but i do know this. in 1967 all chrysler cars converted to a collapsible steering col. but the wheel could stay the same. and duel master brake cyl. i have seen many duel master cyl conversions to older years.

The horn button I bought for my 66 Fury may have been from a 65. Is there a difference? Won't know until I get up to the car Saturday. But compared the B wheel to the C steering wheel. The B body has a pebbled texture suggesting a 70 model. Its base, where the horn stuff goes, is taller and the diameter a half in wider than the flater narrower 66 wheel I do have. That suggests if I used a B wheel, it might overlap (overhang?) the steering column. The C body one is a metallic poly gold/green one that would have to completely rebuilt due to the cracks and splits. If a B body one worked, it would be cheaper to buy it. Thanks for the help.
