fuse block location 1962 Dodge Custom 880
 

I cannot find the fuse block (holder) on my 1962 Dodge Custom 880. The owner's manual says it is on the bottom of the instrument panel but I just cannot find it. A picture or drawing would be great! The heater/AC blower will not work and I suspect it could be the 20 amp fuse the owner's manual mentions. Thanks! Bob

The car might not have a "box" as such. I just took a quick look at the diagram over at "MyMopar" and it seems to suggest individual fuses strung in the wiring, and darn few of them at that

Now, these diagrams can be somewhat simplified, not always correct, and don't always show all options and connectors, so take that for what it's worth...............

In my 62 Plymouth the fuse block is under the dash just below the ash tray and radio. Hope this helps

IN my '64 880 it is located the same as 62Furious said. Under the dash, just below the ash tray. You've gotta stick your melon right up under to see it though.

After exhausting research I finally found out that there is no fuse box on a 1988 Dodge Custom 880. It is, as you suggested, a fuse in each circuit. I have checked both fuses coming from the blower switch and both are good. Am going to check the terminal block and see if something is going on there. Standing on my head and bending my neck past the allowable limit is getting to be a pain, so I think I will install an after-market switch at the bottom of the dash and hook it up to the new blower motor I got from O'Reilly's. Thanks!

For some crazy reason, Chrysler Corp. decided to not put a fuse block in the 1962 Dodge Custom 880, I finally found out! Thanks for the input, though. Appreciate it! Bob

In case you didn't see what I wrote Furious, there is no fuse block on a 1962 Dodge Custom 880, in spite of what the Service Manual said. Each circuit has it's individual fuse in the lines. Thanks for your input. Appreciate it. Bob

that sounds like a crazy way to chase down fuses in a wiring harness
