going through 383 65 B engine
I recently bought a 65 fury that hasnt been driven scince 74. It has sat in a dark garage.
I just rebuilt the 2bl carter carb on the 383 and am going to go ahead and remove the intake and heads and replace the gaskets.
I want to keep the car stock.
what should i do to the head, i.e so it doesnt hurt to use unleaded gas, or porting etc.
where can I get that light teal engine color.
was the block painted as well or just the heads? my block may be just dirty?
anything else I should look out for?

engine paint napa should have it, yes the whole block, heads, intake, valvecovers oil pan, its a 2bbl theres really no need to port the head, i would just have hardend seat put in for the unleaded gas

Bill Hirsch should have the turquoise paint for the motor. The entire motor should be painted.
