hi there new member here but long time car enthusiast! i have a 68 2 door hard top fury that needs front glass and i found one for a good price thats out of a 67 "fastback" style sport fury. i have been told 2 different stories. 1st is that they are the same 2nd is that it wont work in my car.... any help from you guys? thanks in advance and also who makes a good gasket for this car?

 

I know this one.
The hard top windshield is about 1" taller than the "fastback" or fasttop style. I went through this scenario when I was trying to replace the windshield in my '68 Fury III Fasttop.

thanks for the info and the welcome!! any ideas on a glass source or windshield gasket? cheapest glass ive found so far was $550.00 +install

 

If I was looking, I would call around to my local glass places and then, if no luck, I would google it and see what I could find.

 

local shops are $800-$1,000 installed haha cheapest i have found so far was $400 + $150 shipping then i need a gasket and installed

 

alright best i've found is $500 but then im probably gonna need new rubber for it and then its gotta be installed. whats everyone one else paying?? ive been trying to find used with no luck.
