Transmission- 1961 Belvedere
Hi All,
I am currently restoring a 1961 Belvedere with a 225 Slant and a early A904 pushbutton trans. Unfortunately the A904 gave up the ghost and needs a full rebuild. Does anyone know where I could get a new OR used transmission for this thing? As some of you may know , there are some key differences that seperate a early pushbutton 904 from later 904s. Id like to keep the pushbutton. I have had no luck finding anything online as of yet. Thanks for your time, Anton |
I can't help you with a source but if in not mistaken for the pushbutton it's the valve body and the transmission has a ball and trunoin joint at the rear of the transmission.

Find a local classic car guy in your area and ask them to rebuild what you have. Finding one on the shelf I dont think is going to be easy.
