vinyl roof

whats a good product to maintain a vinyl roof, I use Amoural right now, by the next day it seems to dry right out in the same spots in the middle and the rest of the roof looks shiny and sleak. Is wax okay on vinyl roofs?

Surf City has a good product for Vinyl, check them out on the net, surf city garage is the name of the company. It's a two part deal.

when i got my vinyl roof put on, i was told that unless the car was to be used everyday and left in the sun, to not put anything on the vinyl roof

I would use Mothers Convertible top cleaner, which you can find at the bottom of this page;

Then follow it up with "Protectant" wich is the second to last on this page;
