Dorman brake products?

I was looking for a Wagner replacement master cylinder, but may settle for a Raybestos. But I notice a Dorman brand which I'm not familiar with, so I thought I'd solicit feedback. The Dorman equivalent is significantly less $$$, but OEM accuracy and quality are my main concerns.

Dorman products are common around here. I have never had a problem with them and the quality has never been an issue.

You havn't seen their wheel nuts, then. Just like so many "good old" companies, Dorman has gone Chineseo on at least some of their stuff.

Dorman is a very old brand. I don't know when it was established, but it was around when I was a kid, and I'm 65

Oh Come on now 440RR.....
I would not compare it to a Lawson Product Fastner but as compared to allot of the stuff out there, they keep a better eye on the quality control.
We use there intakes, damper, window regulators, and so on in our shop. Most of the time they take a crappy design and improve on it....
And you dont have to buy a bunch of them...

Look, all I'm saying is ONE OF the most important fasteners on your car, IE the nuts that hold yer dam wheels on.......are complete junk. So far I've bought 2 sets and gave up. These were for rear wheels, so 10 lug nuts X 2. All the chrome caps fell off, and no, before you ask, the studs are no where near the ends of the nuts.

If Dorman cannot make, or import, or market good quality in something THAT important, it makes ya wonder about the rest 'o th' stuff.

Hey, I'm Not saying your wrong......
I'm just saying...Where are you going to get the good old Yankee stuff at the local parts house?
And I think it works better then the real Cheepo stuff!
