Whats a 1973 challenger worth....
I was selling some parts from a 1971 lemans to a fella yesterday, he brought up that he has a 1973 challenger with a 340 thats supposedly been built descent, KB pistons... etc. I was curious what it might be worth?
When I asked him about the car he said it was in DESCENT shape, needed floor pans etc. Sounde dlike it was a good car for a complete restore.
He was only asking $3,000 for it which from what Ive seen sounds low, especially with a 340 thats fairly built. I need some opinions here. And if theres anyone here in Western Washington thats possibly interested in it, let me know. Im not going to be able to afford it, but I told him ide look around with some of you folks. He seemed like a fairly straight up guy. So, let me know what its worth, and maybe I can hook one of you up with a descent car for a descent price.
Thanks

I would definately be interested in his challenger. I am from oklahoma, but I actually just bought one about 4 or 5 months ago and drove to illinois for it lol. It was a long drive but it was totally worth it, and I would love to have another one sitting in my drive way! Any how if you could get me in contact with him. Also you asked what its worth, its hard to say without any pictures. You were talking about some rust issues. If the rust is pretty minor, and was originally a 340 car then it would be worth 5k to 7k. If its bad rust, and needs quarters, needs totally new floor and trunk pans something like that would probably be a 2k to 3k car. But I am definately interested in the car, if you could please help me out with it! thanks. You can email me at rcknrolfender79@yahoo.com

it sound like a good deal, but it depends on what condition it is in and if it is a true 340 car 3 k sound ok ,i picked up mine for 3500.00 and put 30k in it by the time it was done and i did all the work except the paint and body . but i love the car
