HELP PLEASE

I have an 80 Plymouth Volare with a /6. Anyone who can give any insight on this car is greatly appreciated! Right now I have an issue with the Air Pump Divertor Valve. (?) I do not know if that is my problem or if there's something else causing my problem but I need help with this.. Also, I have thought of the idea to swap the engine for something with some kick. 318/360 perhaps? Any info/suggestions would be awesome. Also, if anyone has anything of value for this Volare, I am alll ears (well, eyes haha.) THANKS ALL!

I used to have a slant in my volare before I swapped in a 360 Magnum out of an '01 Durango. On the slant I flipped the egr valve to block it off and then removed the whole air pump system and made a block-off plate where it went into the head at the firewall. As far as an engine swap,
http://www.engineswaps.com/Pages/ProductsType/EngConvKits.html has great conversion mounts just for it, they'll fit the new motor just as it would from the factory.

I converted it over to carb. It's extremely simple since the Magnum block is exactly the same as the la block. The hardest part was finding an carb intake for the Magnum heads
