has anyone found replacement rear seats from other cars.My seats are pretty crappy and i have a buddy with a junkyard but its not close to my home,so i was wondering before i try to go measure everything he has does anyone know what will fit.I have a dodge aspen

 

What about re-upholstering your current seats? It is going to be tough to find another seat that matches both the width and mounting points. Original parts are going to be your best bet. The originals can be recovered, new springs, foam, anything you need. Just re-use your factory frame. you could even go with OE materials or go nuts with custom stuff.

 

that was my first thought but my financial adviser (wife) said there was no funds available.spent to much on the paint.my buddy said i could have what ever i could use.i had a chevelle that i put lebaron seats in and looked factory as far as fit.

 

I know about the wife thing...you can try any 1980-1989 M body...Dodge Diplomat...etc for donor seats and any 1976-1980 F body seats you can find...I find the M bodies still on the road and the dead ones in my local pick a part junkyard...once that is said I can tell you no one is re-popping any seat covers for these cars yet...Eric

 

yeah i started to buy the inside stuff first but was having no luck so i did everthing else.Now i have a great looking runing car wit bad seats,my dash and door panels are nice and carpet is so so.but thanks for the info

 

I have some seats! the rear is what you are looking for, or Front? or both?
