59 Dodge Mayfair - Valve and rear Hub help wanted
Hi folks,
I've got a 251 CID flathead 6. Cylinder 6 has low (90) compression. I'm hoping it's not the rings, as I don't really want to go in there. The other cylinders are all around 130. Took the head off, and the copper gasket is perfect. I'm hoping I've just got valves that are too tight on no. 6, but I can't even see where to adjust them.
My other issue is that the rear hubs are really difficult to get separated. I'm using a gear puller, and bangin on em and heating em, but they're not coming off. The shaft is conical, and they're pressure fit on there with a keyway keeping them straight. the castle nut that holds them on is off.
