I am currently restoring a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker Newport Coupe. I'm up in the air about what to do about the power steering setup on this car. I don't care to replace the front clip due to the expense. What I would like is to install a new power steering gear box that will work with the current linkage and all I have to do is custom mount it to the frame. I also plan on getting a new steering column along with the new gearbox. Any suggestions?
