NEED SOME TRUCK HELP
 
I KNOW THIS IS AN MOPAR FORUM BUT YOU GUY ARE THE BEST . I TRADED MY AMC 360 FOR AN 87 FORD F150 I KNOW I AM AN TRADER BUT IF YOU CAN HELP ME I WOULD BE HAPPY IT WAS WORKED ON BUY A DUME A?? WIRED UP THE FUEL PUMP WITH SPEAKER WIRE AND DOCKTAP IT CAME OFF . I CANT FIND WHERE THE WIRS HUCK UP AT SO I HUCKED UP THE WIRS UP TO AN CAR BATTERY AND STARTED UP THE RAN IT IS FUEL INJECTED RPM ONLY GO UP TO 3500RPM AND BOG OUT IT IS AN MANULE HAS WAY TO HIGH OUT PUT FUEL PUMP 150 PSI I THINK IT WAS FLOODING OUT . HOW WOULD I GO TO REWIRE IT CAN IT BE DONE WITH AND TOGGLE LIKE AND OLD CARULATED TRUCK ON AND OFF . I THINKE THE FUEL PUMP NEEDS TO BE ONLY A 65PSI THAT IS WHAT THE SPEC IS .CANT FIND AN DIAGRAME THANKS FOR ANY HELP . PS I DID GET AN MOPAR 360 FOR MY DODGE AND GOT IT OUT TODAY THE AMC WOULD NOT OF WORKED THANKS D200

The wires probably run to a relay somewhere. An electric fuel pump can and should put out that much pressure, at least some of the mopars I've worked on do. if you want to regulate it, then I would suggest an inline regulator that can handle that that kind of PSI.

Correct me if im wrong but i think holley makes an inline regulator that will handle that kind of pressure.

yes they do and so do others so what ever kind your looking for i would go to summit and just get it through them :D

you can always try a local performance place and see what they have. If you just happen to mention what price you can get it for at summit, they might lower theirs or match it just to get the business.
