Well qualifying is over and everyone is ready for the race on Sunday. It's the first time since the 70's that a new team will start on the first row. The Brawn team owned by Richard Branson placed 1 - 2 on the grid for Sunday's race.

 

It's the first time since 1954 that a new team has posted a win 1-2 in a Grand Prix race but that is exactly what happened this morning in Australia. Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello place 1st and 2nd respectively in the opening race of the 2009 season for Brawn-Mercedes.
