Steak with a side of lobster!

Steak but honestly I'd take a good burger over a good steak.
... and I'd take ramen over Lobster. |
Steak for life!

Steak and a baked potato

It's like asking which one of your kids you love better.

I enjoy any kind of good food. Probably because growing up my mother was the worst cook ever. She hated to cook and it showed. I had to suffer through some of the worst meals that you can imagine. She didn't know the meaning of the word seasoning.
I remember she made what she called Texas Hash. I called it something else. A word that started with "S'. It was disgusting. I tried to choke it down and about vomited. She told me that I couldn't leave the table until I cleaned my plate. One time when she wasn't looking I tried to give it to the dog. But the dog wouldn't eat it either. My father didn't care. He would eat anything. Cold cheap hot dogs straight out of the fridge and canned beets. It didn't matter to him. Clearman's North Woods Inn was posted earlier Boy do I miss that place. The bread and the salads and steak that you can cut with a butter knife. . |

We were the first family on our block to get a microwave. My parents weren't fancy people at all. We got it so she wouldn't cook. My old man ponied up the money so we could eat frozen food and cook it faster. .I loved that microwave.
I ate a lot of frozen taquitos. They don't make them like they used to. There's no more of the packets of that green goop that they tried to pass off as guacamole. I really liked that stuff. It was tasty. |
To this day I can’t eat pork chops.

I had pork chops but I chopped them up and simmered them in green chilie sauce and then made tacos with pico de gallo. and Habanero . .
They were really tasty but they were HOT!. Hotter than a stolen pistol.in a heat wave. . I'm not looking forward to using the toilet. The second round of burn is probably going to sting worse. .. |
Pork chops were cheap when we were kid’s so we got them once a week, black breaded in the bone chops, I make breakfast chops and fritters for the boy and myself once in a while but not very often.
|
Ok Man... That sounds goooood !!!!
|
Those pork chops sound good. But as I have gotten older I seem to gravitate to hot and spicy food, The hotter the better. I know it seems like it should be the other way around and I should be having Cream of Wheat dribbling down my chin but that's not the case.. I think that I've killed off all my taste buds so it takes a lot to get through. I may joke about blasting off on the toilet but that really isn't the case. Mild food affects me more than the scorching hot stuff.
My wife yells at me because I make things too hot and she about falls out of her chair when she takes a bite. Silly girl. When will she learn? |
Hahahahahaha.... No hot stuff for me... I'm way too Gringo....
