So today I'm taking my car from my driveway, two houses down to my neighbors garage to use his lift. I drive it out (I have absolutely no brakes but it worked well), I get about 1 house away and a Silverado comes down the road and stops, I have my friend walk over and tell him to wait a second as I push/drive the car to the garage, I was the only one moving the car with no brakes, so he decides to come on through yelling and complaining at me, I told him, "Buddy, it's a fifty-five hundred pound car, do you really think I can stop on a friggin' dime? No so chill the hell out and wait two minutes!" he decides to get out of his truck and start a war, got fed up and just took the breaker bar and put it in the front seat, tried explaining that I'm only one person pushing/driving this thing with no brakes to the garage, he's flipping out, I mean hell, if I over-steer his truck is done, I can't stop it instantly. So he drives off all pissed, all the while the guy I sued a while ago was out laughing and all that so I ignored it.

His brother comes out calling me a bunch of stuff, and I start laughing at him, because it was his money that paid for this car, his brother tries to get involved and gets shut down immediately and put back in his cage.

Are people that ignorant? All I needed was 2 minutes to get it in the driveway and it was all over, but people had to make a big scene out of it and cause a riot, Then he has the ***** to tell me that my car is done for, I told him that he comes in my driveway, since there is a no-trespassing sign,he's just pissed off about me making something of what his stupidity did years ago.

 

Even I have/had anger issues, but atleast I didn't have to cause a riot in the middle of the street with some random guy, people aren't civil these days.

 

Also, I know someone will ask "Well didn't you just do the rear brakes? Howcome they don't work?" - Answer: I haven't put in new brake lines, still need the bleed them tonight, hopefully, then do all that.

 

Some people are just *** holes. My neighbors always try to start **** but their points get shot down. They just hate us. No big deal. Its why i start my car w/ open headers at 7am on a Saturday.

so were you driving? with the engine running? or just pushing it? or pushing it with the car running in drive?

 

I was driving it, engine running and all, switched it to pushing running in drive when I got 1 house away.

 

my neighbors treat me the same about my car, but thats ok, i think there just mad cuz most of them have to drive honda mini vans lol

 

there are people like that all over I am glad that they live in your neighborhood and not mine. I just work with the cry babies

 

yep you run into to people like that all over makes you wonder what could of possibly happened in their life to make them such a jerk

 

Wow,I realy hate people are such jerks...bet if they were having the problem they would like for you to be patient dont you.I hope you can be more of an adult about it than the fool in the truck lol
