Let me start by sating that I do not support illegal street racing!!! but this story will make yall proud

anyhow,

i raced a punk kid in his dads 05-09 mustang gt today and won!!! it was only a 25-60 mph blast, and the highway was dry and clear.

I cannot fathom how my bone stock 318 full weighted satellite out walked an newer mustang gt!!! I could not believe it. both of us where all out, and i never saw him!!! As soon as i got to 60, i let off and this kid pulls up and just shakes his head.

I was so proud of my mopar! How did i beat a mustang gt that has me beat in hp and weight? I think Mother Mopar was looking down on me.

Now that i have bragging rights, i will never race again, but that made me so excited that i just had to tell you all. I sure do love my Mopar!!

 

I agree on the street racing but I'm also proud of the outcome!!!! Laying a "Blue Oval" or a "Chebby" in the weeds makes me smile!!!!!

 

nice ! wish there was a place for younger adults and teens like my self where we could take our everyday driver and race eachother, but not like the whole drag strip deal with the crazy over powered stuff ya kno

 

Check with your local drag strip.. Most of them now have a "street night" where its all street cars... Better than street racing...... If they don't have one get a group together and propose it to them....
