1989 Shelby Dakota #114

Good morning all. I recently purchased my Shelby on 12/24/2020. It does need some work and I cant wait to start wrenching on it. I did notice that the belt for the smog pump was removed. Should I bother reinstalling? Any tips or tricks that I need to know about? It has 123k miles and is a matching number vehicle. Previous owner had it for 10 years and didn't take very good care. Currently has (about to vomit) 20 inch rims with new tires that I will use until I can find some period correct rims. It needs all of the usual repairs that I can see off the top. Oil pan and valve cover gaskets, power steering pump leaking and I'm sure a rear dif. and trans fluid flush are in need as well.

It will be interesting to look at the finished project with normal discs, by the way, which discs would you like?
