chevy guy checking out the mopars
hello, my name is luke. i bought a 89 horizen a few months ago for about $380. im thinking about putting a turbo on it from another 2.2l mopar so thats why i joined this site, to find out more.
my other car is a 95 chevy beretta z26. I swapped from a 3100 v6 to a 3400 v6. i swapped from the 4t60e crapmatic to a getrag 282 5 speed manual. swapped out the control arms for the older 90-93 style. also swapped engine and dash harness' in order to take advantage of obdII and its tuning capabilities. I have a turbo from a 90 mclaren pontiac grand prix in my basement along with the hardware that goes with it and eventually that'll end up on my beretta. later on

Welcome daguse and the one thing i can tell you about the turbos is you need to make sure its from a newer 2.2 , the older ones had to small of a oiler hole and would sometimes wipe out the turbo but you can drill it out bigger and it will take care of the problem / the dealers never told anyone about this problem i guess it was a money thing so let us no how it goes for you and you finally made it to the best cars after starting out with the rest hehehehe let us no what you might need help on k
