D200 Transmission help

I have a 1967 D200 with a 318. I also have a 1967 D100 that came with a five speed that was out of the truck and also has a 318. The guy I bought the D100 from said it was from a Dakota and "bolts right to the bell housing". I cant seem to find much of anything that talks about a Dakota 5 speed mounting to the bell housing for the original 4 speed. I tried looking up the number on the 5 speed transmission but also couldn't find it. The number is 50610758, that is stamped on the bottom. The original transmission in D200 per the manufacturer plate is "4SYN". I tried looking that up and again came up short. All the places I looked seemed to only go back to mid or early 70s. If anyone knows a good place to find this information or has any knowledge on this please let me know!!! I want to get this figured out before I move to much further in the project. If I need to modify the transmission tunnel I would much prefer to do it now then later.
