Hello to all
I signed up here a few weeks ago, but had not posted, so I guess now's the time to introduce myself. I live in Elbert County, Colorado and have been a Mopar nut since I can remember. I recently separated from my common law wife of five years, leaving me all the time in the world to tend to my 4 wheeled babies (of course, now I have no cash). Some of my critters include:
http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...9ChargerRT.jpg My '69 Charger R/T clone (originally a 383/Auto/AC car). No Drivetrain at the moment, but the interior is all new off white. Body is 10 foot. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...DodgeD-100.jpg My '51 3-window D-100. Needs a little body work and paint, and I've gotta get some 3.73's and a posi in the rear (8-3/4, 742 3rd. member); It's currently a 2.76 one-legger. The front is still the original beam axle, but I did a disc conversion with '00 Jeep WJ calipers and '96-99 Caravan rotors. But at least the motor is done: http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...ompartment.jpg '77 360 0.040" over with Keith Black hyper's (10.7:1 with the 70 cc chambers), full internal balance, Isky 264 megacam, Performer intake and 1405 carb, MSD 6A, Blaster coil and 8.5mm wires (mopar single pick-up dist). Stock exhaust manifolds to straight 2.5" pipe. Haven't had it dynoed yet, but hoping for ~350HP/400ft/lbs. It's in front of a very unhappy 904 (just rebuilt). http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...aytonaleft.jpg My '87 Daytona Shelby. Currently not driveable, as I blew up yet another Turbo. But it's a 2.2 intercooled with stage II computer, 42 lb injectors, MSD ignition, the turbo is a super 60 series. The motor is still mostly stock inside, other than the fresh speed pro hypers (stock CR). Right now it's got a NP525 tranny (I've been through a couple). Other than that, just Autometer Gauges, KYB struts & shocks, Cross drilled rotors and Primax 16" wheels with Falken 502 205/55-16's. When I'm ready to put it back on the road, it's getting a fresh block 0.020" over, O-ringed head, FM 475 cam, ported intake and 52mm throttle body, 95 GPH fuel pump coupled with adjustable regulator and oversized rail, T3/T4 hybrid turbo, new intercooler (can't remember the capacity, but the biggest FM offers that will fit w/o relocating a buch of stuff), all new aluminum intake piping and 3.5" straight exhaust. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...T-topcoupe.jpg My '78 Aspen T-top. Got this one in trade for a Romanian WASR-10 (cheap semi-auto AK-47 clone). Dropped about $2K into it, but now I have a pretty decent little driver. It's a 318/904 car, but I scrapped the ELB in favor of conventional single pick-up vacuum advance distributor with standard electronic control unit and swapped the cute little 2 bbl for an Edelbrock 1405, which sits atop a police interceptor dual plane cast iron intake. The intake is ported, as are the 593 heads that I had milled 0.030" (also port matched). Cam is a 360 H/D truck cam (.409"/242) exhaust is 2 into 1 two inch cat & cherry bomb for now. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/100_0368.jpg The Powerwagon. A 1980 1/2 ton long box, lifted 4" and rolling on 35's, with a (relatively) new 440 running 906 heads and a .484"/284 purple cam, Edelbrock performer intake & 1407 carb, MSD 8.5mm cables and 3" straight pipes with high flow cats. Tranny is an NP 435 4 speed and T-case is NP 208. Standard 9-1/4 rear and Dana 44 front (3.55 gears), but Lincoln locked and the rear has disc brakes ala '97 F-150 front rotors and the same calipers as the front of the truck. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...euceatwork.jpg OK, so this one's not a Mopar, but it's the source of my screenname. 1966 Kaiser-Jeep M35A2 2-1/2 ton 6x6 with PTO winch. It's totally stock, with the Hercules LDT 465 multifuel turbodiesel engine (that generates a whopping 134 HP and 330 ft/lbs.). It ain't fast, but it'll go anywhere and pull anything. It actually gets 10 MPG on the highway, despite it's 13,530 pound empty weight. http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/100_0362.jpg I'm not gonna bother posting pic's of the daily driver, as it's a run-of-the-mill '99 Intrepid ES. Look forward to posting more and picking up tips and tricks from everyone. |
New here myself but thought I would say welcome. Good looking stuff and most of all it wears a star.
