Welcome!

What is the main goal for the car? Daily Driver? Weekend Warrior? Street/Strip Machine? Race Only?

I would go with some J heads. And have them ported and polished. Or some X heads if you can find some for a good deal. But in most cases you can buy a set of aluminum heads for the same price or cheaper than you can get a pair of X heads for. As far as cam goes I'd figure out what heads and intake your going to run then ask some of these guys what a good cam to go with them would be.... Heads and cam will be the biggest most power adding factor of the engine. The magnum heads are supposed to be really good as well.

Bottom end you'll probably be find with stock crank and rods, get some flat top pistons and have the block milled to be flush with the pistons at top dead center.
