New to Dodge and Forum

Howdy folks. Just purchased an older model Dodge truck over the weekend. Never owned a Dodge before but the truck looks like a real workhorse and was in good shape. Now I'm looking to do a few quick things to it to get the most power and fuel efficiency possible while not breaking the budget on it. Here's what I've got:

1991 Dodge Power Ram W250. It's a 3/4 ton long bed, regular cab, 4WD. It has the 5.9L 360 TBI engine. Runs pretty good...cranks and idles fine. It's a little shaky in gear if you're stopped but in neutral or park it idles clean. Bought the basic tune ups...plugs, wires, distributor cap, fuel, air, oil filters and new oil. Wondering what the main things are you can tweak on these beasts to get them to really come out and play. Any advice is well received and appreciated.

Welcome!

You might want to post your question in the engine section to get the most help.

Being a TBI unit, I'm not sure exactly what you can do unless you can get into the computer and adjust some things. Otherwise the normal bolt-ons would always help; headers, exhaust, intake, cam. etc.. You may want to look and see if your state has any smog laws first though as they can restrict what you do to it.
