New to the forum but not to MOPARs..

Well I've been lurking on this forum for a long time and I finally decided to join up. I have a clunker of a Belvedere. 1969 with a 440 4spd. It was an original 318 with three on the tree but it was gutted many, many, many years ago and the shell is the only thing that was usable. So we had a 440 with a 727 in it when it was a race car. Ran mid to low 12's using only MOPAR OE parts from 1969. Now I'm trying to make a streetable car again. I'm old and I just want to drive it........ Here are some pix of what we have done to her recently.... I'm sure I'm gonna get a lot of crap about it but it wasn't in all that great a shape when we bought it in the late 1980's. But at least I'm trying to make something of her again.....

Just thought I'd say hello to you all out there.... So, hello......

A~

WELCOME to the club ..I am an old-guy toooo (compared to others here) ... and have a car that is not much of a show-car either. I still have the car that I started "out" with ....a 62 Belvedere.

Stocker 440, iron exh mans, muffs, 3.91 gear, 7" tires ... 12.39 ..111 mph.

Welcome, I'm also a Newbie here
Nice job on the engine. As far as getting crap,If you can drive it and have fun thats what it's about. A friend has Cuda's and would never drive them on the street, He was scared they might get damaged. Mopars were meant to drive. And being old is just what people see not what you feel :)

I am new and only know how to reply to a post. How do you make a post? Sorry to be asking this in the middle of your post but I do not know what I'm doing yet. Thanks
