New here, question

I am new to the forum and am hoping you guys can help me out a little. I have a 1967 plymouth Belvedere with a 1973 440 in it... What do I buy parts for???? I need a bottom radiator hose, alternator, and possibly a radiator.... which vehicle do i purchase these for? I believe the belv' was originally a 273 car? Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

i would get them for the 440 motor. 273 might have been different with the original radiator. worse comes to worse i believe they sell the flex hoses you can shape however you want.

the 440 has a different radiator than a 273
i think your original motor would have been a 318
273 was discontinued by 67 for B bodies (i think)
you could go the aluminum radiator way if you want

Was your radiator upgraded as well with the motor swap? I would run the casting/part number off your radiator and decipher what year it is as well. Or at least find where the radiator hose necks were placed for the newer motor. That would give you a better idea.

If your 67 Belve drives (I wanna see a pic! I have one too), take her to the parts store and find a cool salesperson. There's one where I like to go and he lets me takes hoeses out to the car to check it out.

Run your VIN number and it will tell you what your ride had originally for a motor. Mine was originally a slant 6 car, but was upgraded at some point to a whopping big 318; at least they did the K-member swap for me.

Oh yeah...and welcome! :)
