new to mopar forums and mopars in general
Hey everyone!! I'm Holli :) I have a 1966 coronet 440 4dr that I just bought a few weeks ago. Great shape for $1000. It has the poly 318 engine. I think I want to restore it, not 100% sure about that yet, but it is a matching #'s car. I can always keep the original stuff and shove it back in later if i need to. The previous owner painted the body primer black and left the top white.. it was originally an all white car, but for now, if i had some blue and red rotating lights, i could play cops n robbers!! haha. My car rawks, I can't wait to get more into it and get it running how i want it to. I plan on doing all the work myself, but...seeing that I'm not exactly a mechanic, I might possibly bug you from time to time about retarded stuff!! lol I'll go ahead and apologize ahead of time :D
SORRY! haha have a good day ~holli~ |
G'Day Holli,
I'm new here too,so i thought i'd welcome you :). Nice car the Coronet,went for a ride in a 500 once and what a ride it was:eek:. |
Hi
Hi, and welcome. The 318 is a very easy motor to work on so dont let it intimidate you. And there are some poeple here that know what they are doing so dont be afraid to ask.
I know you were kidding, but I think making your car a cop car would be a really cool idea. It would be unique, granted that would probably mean you couldnt drive it, which would suck, but I think it would be cool. Post up some pics i wana see it :D:D:D |
