Universal Joints D350 5.9 tbi Gas Dually
 

The universal joints off my D series says "Spicer", and "Spicer" is also stamped on the drive shaft.
Shes an ole 1990 physical plant truck from the U of F I scored at a surplus auction. The sleeves on the yolk for the UV joint caps is big.
Being this truck is a 1 ton dually, I need advice on where to find these particular UV joints. I brought a used one off the vehicle to Advance Auto parts and obviously the jitterbugs that work there sold me the wrong parts. My truck has a remanufactured A518 OD tranny, with a smaller, lighter flatbed.
Please post some suggestions, I don't care about cost, I just need to find a new set of "Spicer" 1 ton D Series UV joints.
Or uv joints that are compatible.
The image shows the difference in the "new" uv joint caps, opposed to the DS yoke. The clips for the caps are outboard, rather than inboard.

One last note, Both uv joints are the same at the tranny and the diff.

Check the Dana P# 251309X or 25-1309X....
Cap DIA. 1.125"
Cap To Cap 2.625"

I’ve always gotten my Spicer joints from a Spicer dealer locally, the same place the jobbers in town got them. Do a search for your local Spicer dealer…
