1970 satellite with 400 stroker?
i just traded for a 1970 plymouth satellite with a 1976 400. unfortunitely, i know very little else about the motor. it definetley has a cam, probably is a stroker(470?), 650 double pumper, mallory ign, fuel pressure reg, long tube headers, and is plumbed for nitros. what im wondering is does the 2400 stall converter sound about right and can i relatively easily put a shift kit in it. oh, yeah, its a 4 door.

stall depends on cam, gears, weight of car, and whole lot of other stuff, just cuz theres a 2400 stall in it dont mean it will stall there, could stall at 1800 or 2800, just depends on alot of factors, shift kits are pretty easy to put in, basic knowledge, you should hae no problems

Guru, I've been a chevy guy for as long as i can remember and i never was a fan of dodge darts, but i humbly offer my appreciation for your car. My satellite is that same color and your car is impressive. I'll get some pictures so you guys can laugh at the 4 dr
