HELP!!!! 98 chrylser cirrus 2.5L crank no start
So as some know I have been having off and on issues with this car. the latest is: one night no crank no start; check the fuses and found the IGN/FUEL starter fuse (20a) was blown. put in a new one started ran fine for weeks. then happened again. So try a new one again. blew the fuse the minute you tried to start. so just to get the car to where the daughter needed to go, put in a 30a fuse. Well I forgot and it went some days and now the problem is back these time it cranks but will not start. there is NO fuel at the rail with key on and even at start. I haven't tried the brake cleaner down the throat yet to check for spark, but will.
So my question is if anyone knows why the IGN/Fuel Starter fuse keeps popping? and where should I look the fuels electrical system, the ign system or the starter circuit???
Thanks in advance. I have both women on my back!

Ok so I have been trying to figure this one out for some time. I pulled one of the plugs attached it to the wire rested the threads on a intake bolt and cranked the engine and got no spark.
By the way the IGN/Fuel/Starter fuse is no longer popping.
Ok so following the books (Haynes) methods I tested the ASD relay and am unsure if it is good or not. One test was to check the 85 and 86 port and it says it should be approximately 75ohms but it showed at 72.8 So does that mean it is bad. All the other test showed good.
Also is there anyway to test if the PCM is bad? Thanks!!

If there is power to the fuses and the relays don't click then the PCM is not working properly. Check that there is power on plug pin 20 at the PCM dark blue/white at that time, and also verify that there is power on pin 46 at the PCM at all times (red/tan). Finally check that the wires on pin 10,47,50 of the pcm plugs show continuity to ground. If all that is correct then I would believe the PCM is bad.

Hi bro! So no spark eh? Go to autozone and rent their "noid-light"set. This will tell you if you are receiving an injector pulse. If you get "no joy" there, then the computer is NOT telling the injectors to fire, and NOT telling the coil to fire. And this would point to an input that the pcm is looking for, but not receiving. Worst case, bad pcm. But there are tests for that too. Good luck, Scott.
