2004 dodge intrepid leaking oil or transfluid
 

I have a 2004 dodge intrepid with a 2.7 liter and auto transmission . since moving to Az the car has been dripping on the driveway. I'm thinking oil or trans fluid. At this point you can't tell where it's coming from. There is fluid/oil everywhere
What are the common areas that they develop leaks on this model. Other than that the car has 110,000 miles and still running strong.

Can you tell what color the oil is ?

Oil pressure sender ? Fix the oil leak, clean it up and sell it !!! The 2.7 was a bad motor from day one

Will check color. Car has been good for us but I heard what you said.

Some Cars just hate AZ......:laugh:

If it has had synthetic oil and reg oil changes you may be Ok... Oil passages are in a bad place & the oil gets cooked. then you loose oil pressure.

Do a search on 2.7 engine

You got that right. Car never leaked until we came to AZ.
