Mini Spare on T&C
 

I have a 2006 T&C with stow & go seats. The owners manual states I have to use a mini-spare or damage to the vehicle might occur.
I have measured the spare and the shroud that covers it and it is larger in depth and diameter than the full-sized spare on my 98 Grand Voyager.
Why does Chrysler have that statement in the manual?? Seems to me a full sized spare would fit easily without the shroud.

Any comments?

Are there any wires or fuel/brake lines or cables that might interfere with the full size tire mounting under the truck?

Its your Van, if you think it will fit try it, the worst you would do is flatten the tire or bend the rim some.
