i have a 360 motor in a dodge sportsman camper that im looking to get a little more power out of without spending to much money in the process.

Maybe headers and a good 4bbl carb do you have a 2 bbl or the thermoquad manifold?
Stick with a dual plane intake, 600 cfm carb and a mild cam something like 268 degree |
If you don't want to tear into the motor too much, then go with a 4barrel carb, intake manifold, headers, Sure Grip in the rear axle and possibly a HD shift kit for the tranny (Assuming its an auto).

Another vote for Headers for sure. Get Tri-y style to get the biggest bang for the buck out of a lower RPM motor. Then a quality aluminum dual plane and a carb.

If it's a stock distributor a recurve and controling your initial advance could help for almost no money. Lots of info on the subject if you look.

Are you leaving it in the motor home? Mine came with super long tube headers. I will be pulling it for something else and using the headers in my van. It also had a 2 bbl. The thermoquad would be better.
The earlier posts said it all, I really can't add much. Maybe this might help. Depending on where you live, I have found that many junk yards out in the rural areas still have some older stuff laying around and a little yard searching can be fun and yeild many good parts. I recently got a windsheild ( 70's p/u) a 4 bbl intake (318 dakota) and a pair of rims (14" five slot off the same dakota) for 50 bucks. |
