6.1L SRT8 into B body
 

I have used the search feature but can't find a thread(s) for dropping a 425hp SRT8 Hemi into a 70 B body (or late 60s B body). I'm pretty sure I'm going to drop a Gen II hemi into my 70 SB but I have seen the 6.1L into B bodies and it's pretty kool, too. Anyone got a link(s)?

crazy to do it maybe unless I intend to drive it. If I had the orig engine I'd pull and store it and I'd think real hard about the FI engine in it. To sell it needs a hemi or a 6 pack since I don't have the original engine. Or just sell it with the built 440 in it.

guy in TX (Steve) has been doing this for a couple of years....he also strokes and buildsup the 6.1 and 5.7

Both are limited by the thicknes of the cylinder walls and bottom end strength.
