I agree Lynn..... Got to keep it real.... :) I agree the 1,000' racing is not the same... But it does keep some of the older tracks in the game.. One that comes to mind is Englishtown... Not enough shut down area for the speeds they are running today.. OK so they slow the cars down... Take away a fuel pump, do a little of this and a little of that and they are again safe.... But we all know what happens then... Speeds start to creep back up, and more and more and before you know it they are just as fast and still running the short race tracks... I totally understand both sides and to error on the side of safety I believe is the right way to go... I don't care for it but it seems to be working... Scott was the last death in FC if memory serves me right... And that says a lot.... Thanks Bob.... We are looking forward to seeing a lot of our racing family today..... Truly great people..... |
Very true..... To me it's just not the fix.... But a nice bandaid. But now we are back there and an adjustment has to be made without killing the class.
Wish I had the million dollar answer.... |
