1974 Gold Duster
Does anyone know where I might be able to find parts for it? My boyfriend and I have decided to restore it for my dad. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome aboard! A lot depends on what you're looking for and if you are planning on a factory resto or resto-mod. For salvage part www.moparcity.com is very good and don't forget eBay, yes, eBay. Archer |
Craigslist has fallen down lately, I guess the economy. But I've found a LOT of stuff for my 67 on Craigslist, Ebay, and the various forums. Google Mopar, forums, and you'll find some. Where are you located? If you are in a populace area, you should be able to find a lot of stuff locally.

Your heading in the right direction.
Like mentioned above, sign up on as many forums as you can find and cruise the classifieds. go to swap meets when the weather allows. This used to be the only way and I still love cruising the swaps. Rock auto for mechanical parts you can't get local, but you will be surprised to find out how much is still available. Might be harder to find a good counter person that knows what to look for and where, than it is to find the parts. Many parts are not in computer data bases any more. Others are still there cause they are used on later trucks. ie 80's Sheet metal, Desert Valley Auto Parts, Wild cat salvage. Interior parts Year one Good luck Keep us up on your progress. |
